This blog website will archive the “We Are Many: Inquiries into Chicago Activism” event series. The events are conceived as a way to highlight the amazing successes (and sometimes failiures) of Chicago based radical and progressive groups while at the same time building connections between activists in the Chicago area. The discussions are typically divided into three main categories. The participating group gives an overview of their organization, then an analysis of their organizational and strategic successes and struggles, and finally their group’s connection to local, national, and international movements and/or issues. The presentatiosn last about 45 minutes, with another 45 minutes for discussion. So far participants include Code Pink, Dill Pickle Food Co-Op and Chicago Media Action.The series is, with the group’s permission, taped for podcasting and then archived at wearemany.areachicago.org
